Farrah Fawcett's troubled son Redmond O'Neal has no plans to make an appearance in his dad Ryan's reality show - he wants to live "privately" and with "dignity" after completing rehab.
Redmond was in jail when his mother died last June, and has since received treatment at a centre in Pasadena, California as he battles the addictions that first put him behind bars.
He graduated from the intensive drug program on Thursday and O'Neal is now adamant he wants to live a quiet and respectable existence.
In a statement, he says, "My plan is to move forward with my life, clean and sober. I am going to do so privately and with as much quiet dignity as I can."
O'Neal obviously made a good impression on presiding Los Angeles Superior Court judge Michael Tynan - who he hugged upon leaving the court.
The 25 year old's actor dad is in talks to star in a TV series about his relationship with his other child, Tatum O'Neal. The pair reunited last year after a bitter falling out following the release of her controversial autobiography, A Paper Life.
