Samuel L. Jackson and Angela Bassett's Broadway play The Mountaintop is officially a success - the production has recouped its $3.1 million (£1.94 million) costs.
The stageshow, starring Jackson as civil rights icon Martin Luther King, Jr., is based on playwright Katori Hall's reimagining of the events in Memphis, Tennessee on 3 April, 1968 - the night before King's assassination.
The play began previews at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre in September and it's proved to be a box office hit, recovering the full production costs just days before the curtain falls on the show for the final time on Sunday.
